# 6.2.2 Project Management Plans
PM2 suggests several Project Management Plans (artefacts) which outline the various project management processes. These plans identify how an organisation manages relatively standard processes. These plans are the:
1. **Requirements** Management Plan
2. Project **Change** Management Plan
3. **Risk** Management Plan
4. **Quality** Management Plan
5. **Issue** Management Plan
6. **Communications** Management Plan
Depending on the organisation and the project, different levels of documentation detail may be required. **When sufficient, a brief definition of each management process or plan can be provided in the Project Handbook**. When a more extensive and detailed description is needed, **separate management plans** can be instituted based on the **PM2 templates** and guidelines provided.
